Reflective Practice Group (Supervision)

Interpreters can join in online supervision groups for the purpose of reflective practice with participants from arounds the UK, and sometimes also from the USA.

This is one of the most beneficial ways to reflect on our work as interpreters and make tangible changes to improve our ethical practice. We often work alone, and having a space where our colleagues can offer support and suggestions to help us navigate interpreting situations can be invaluable.

These groups are made up of between 4 and 6 interpreters and run for one year, meeting roughly each month for a total of 10 times.

Each session arranged at a time to suit everyone in the group. The group is led by a trained facilitator.

In the UK, each 2 hour supervision group is worth 4 CPD points.
In the USA, RID CEUs are available via a PINRA.
